We're leaving to the new summer pasture
Carpathian buffalos are well-known for their love of freedom, fresh grass and water. That's why Michel Jacobi with a help of shepards, every year takes buffalos, horses, cows and goats to the summer pasture.
They won't attend Tchumalevo this summer. Their new location will be the Svydovets range.
Svydovets range lies in the northeast of the Transcarpathian region in the interstream area of the rivers Teresva and Black Tysa. The northern slopes of the range are steep with alpine terrain features (massive blocks of bottom moraine, rocky walls and ridges). The upper part of the range is open and covered with subalpine and partly alpine flora and meadows. The forest boundaries are low enough, the northern slopes are covered with spruce forests and southern – with spruce-beech and beech forests. The river Black Tysa, the source of Tysa, one of the fullflowing rivers of the region flows out from Svydovets. So, this would be a perfect place for all the animals.
To Svydovets we are going with 25 Carpathian buffalos, 10 Huzul Mountain Ponnys, Rishka Cows, 3 Goats and lot of puppies.
We also announce that 5 buffalos with the alfa bull Pauliko (Pavlyk) stay in Steblivka with Ihor.
